Carnegie Hall Sold for Undisclosed Amount

Carnegie Hall - (72″ x 60″ Enamel, Acrylic, silkscreen and collage on canvas with gallery sides) – sold

New York Street Art Bad Boys TMNK + AVONE of Destroy Rebuild NYC have done it again. They’ve just closed a deal to sell their painting Carnegie Hall to a prominent art collector in Portugal. The collector has been following the two for several years, and has quietly been adding their unique blend of street art to his vast collection. In a phone conversation today, the collector said this is one piece he had to have.

The two artists, who began by selling their works on the streets in SoHo, have made a name for themselves and collectors around the world are taking notice. The famed New York hotel Gansevoort recently purchased a painting from the two artists for the Lobby of it’s Meat Packing District location, as well as another for the recently opened Park Avenue Gansevoort.
