It’s like a dream come true (almost). Well, at least my work is living the Vida Loco. “I have a Dream” , and thanks to patrons like “EL COLLECTOR” it is coming true.

Told you the Streets were wearing me out. (wink)

I’m always excited humbled to garner the attention of new collectors, or the repeat affection of existing collectors. Without a doubt it feels pretty damn cool. But at G40 I had the rare honor of having my ego stoked and stroked, when other extremely talented artists told me “I was hoping I’d get to meet you, dude I love your work.” Generally, I think cats are just being nice/polite, so I say thank you and keep it moving. But this one cat, Michael Owen, wouldn’t let it go, he continued emphasizing his seriousness. I stood there, feeling a rare gratification. One I still question my worthiness of, still it felt awfully good. (THANKS , I dig our art TOO!)
That evening we talked for about 30 minutes, and I came away thinking what a really cool, and friendly person. Yeah, I sound surprised because sometimes us artists can be, well, kind of full of ourselves. But not Michael. Anyway, stop by and check out some of his art (just as cool as he is)…
Thanks my dude for all the help, the info, and for making me feel like I was SOMEBODY special - You heard of me? Well now all of my peeps will hear about YOU. That’s Love.
